About Andre Tulip
Andre Tulip is a Chartered Physiotherapist, with over 18 years experience in Physiotherapy. He has helped professional athletes from many of the North Easts men’s and Women’s professional football clubs.
He has always had an interest in Muskuloskeletal Physiotherapy and believes that the tradition of soft tissue massage, mobilisations is being lost from Physiotherapy.
He feels its extremely effective in treating clients combined with receiving exercises as a form of rehabilitation. Andre supports his clients from initial assessment to provide the optimum Philosophy of treatment and most holistic way of engaging a client to achieve best results.
He has helped manage athletes from an huge range of sporting professions including Athletics, Karate, Netball, Tennis, Judo, Rugby, Ten pin Bowling, Swimming, Dancing and many other elite sports men and women.
Andre also really enjoys working with clients from a non sporting background. It comes with great satisfaction to enable his clients to reduce pain and live a lifestyle where they reap the benefit from his services. He has gained experience working as an Occupational Health Physio enabling people to reduce any work strains and help clients manage pain and problems to prevent them from being absent at work and also rehabilitate clients who have been absent back into the working environment.
Andre studied in the USA for his first degree in Exercise Science during his early 20’s as a scholar athlete and was an integral team member of a championship winning team from Carson Newman University in Tennessee 2000. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy from Northumbria University in 2006
